About

Domestic Violence Prevention Enhancements and Leadership Through Alliances (DELTA) Project

As a community, we can prevent domestic violence by educating ourselves, our employees, our families and youth in an effort to understand the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that allow domestic violence to occur.  The DELTA Project of Ottawa County is dedicated to working with local communities, schools, faith leaders, parents, youth, and men and boys as allies to prevent domestic violence before it happens. Domestic violence is a community wide issue.  You can help prevent domestic violence.  We all have a role to play in prevention.

The DELTA Project of Ottawa County is a collaborative primary prevention program of Lakeshore Alliance Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (LAADSV) and Center for Women in Transition. We are one of over seventy DELTA programs nationwide working hard to prevent domestic and sexual violence in intimate relationships through prevention education and community-based strategies.
